Killing Floor 3 Delayed to Later in 2025
Tripwire Interactive announced a significant delay for Killing Floor 3 (KF3), pushing the release date from March 25th, 2025, to a later, unspecified date in 2025. This decision follows a closed beta test that received overwhelmingly negative feedback.
Disappointing Beta Test Results

In a Bluesky post on March 7th, 2025, Tripwire acknowledged the shortcomings of the beta, stating that they "missed the mark." The developer cited widespread criticism concerning performance, stability, user interface/user experience (UI/UX), lighting, and weapon feel. These issues, along with player concerns about the game's departure from the series' established horror elements and the character/class selection system, led to the delay. Online discussions highlighted player frustrations, with descriptions ranging from "insanely clunky and clumsy" to an "unpolished, glitch-ridden, vomit-inducing wreck." One Reddit user, Captain_Pugman, poignantly questioned whether the developers had forgotten what made the Killing Floor series special.
Tripwire reassured fans that they are committed to addressing these issues and delivering a polished final product. They promised to provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
