Our second Sloword application is now available, offering an exciting new way to engage with puzzles. You can access Scanword immediately upon loading the app by clicking directly on the image on the first screen or through the Settings - Other Applications section. Dive into this modern alternative to traditional crosswords for a refreshing change of pace.

Scanwords in Russian represent a unique cultural phenomenon, unparalleled in any other language. They feature an array of literary questions, humor-infused queries, and timely references to global events, transforming ordinary crosswords into a rich tapestry of language and culture. Russians cherish their language, valuing words as precious treasures.

Our application offers a diverse collection of scanwords, ranging from simpler to more complex puzzles. You'll find scanwords with photographs, classic questions, and associative prompts like "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes one English-Russian scanword and one "holey" scanword—its name will become clear once you try it. Each page welcomes you with a character from our cheerful family. Join us and explore this vibrant world of puzzles!

All scanwords are free for readers. This annual collection features 52-53 issues, each containing 20 scanwords. The complete annual set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your device, as the images are small and the text is straightforward. We respect the space on your phone.

No internet connection is required to solve the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded to your device. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have enabled notifications, you will receive a reminder every Friday at 12:00 local time about the new issue. Upon opening the app, the new issue downloads automatically, and if successful, it won't repeat. You can also download or delete individual magazines on your phone or use the "Settings" to download all magazines at once.

The main features, including access to all scanwords, are free for readers within the application. Advertisers fund this experience, allowing them to display one narrow banner on each page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers respect the solving process and do not interrupt it. They also reward readers with free hints for watching their videos.

Readers have the option to manage their experience with advertisers by: a) permanently disabling ads, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription duration, or c) accumulating hints in bulk. These options are clearly presented in the "Shop" section.

Privacy Policy:

1) We use the standard Android advertising identifier solely for ad placement and performance analysis. An advertising identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers such as SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
