Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd: Rogue Frontier! This first major update of the year introduces a thrilling new storyline centered around a rebellious faction.

Outland Adventures

The Rogue Frontier update focuses on the Smugglers, a group defying the Royal Continent's strict laws and establishing themselves in the Outlands. They've created hidden underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as vital hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning. These dens are interconnected via the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.

Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and Royal Guards. Help rescue captured Smugglers or deliver crucial contraband hidden within Smuggler Crates.

Rewards for Loyalty

Show your allegiance to the Smugglers, and Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens, will reward your loyalty. Earn the Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (featuring a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an exclusive Avatar.

New additions include Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The better the loot your opponent possessed, the greater your chance of obtaining a trophy.

The Rogue Frontier update also introduces stylish new weapons:

• Rotcaller Staff: Summons a chilling mist to repel enemies.
• Skystrider Bow: Allows levitation for ranged attacks from above.
• Forcepulse Bracers: Unleashes shockwaves as you dash into combat.
