The Sims 1 and 2 might come back to PC very soon

The Sims franchise is marking its 25th anniversary with a bang, and while Electronic Arts has unveiled its celebratory plans, unexpected additions are still possible.

A recent Sims teaser hinted at the series' first two installments, sparking fervent fan speculation about a potential revival. While unconfirmed, Kotaku sources suggest a digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with their original expansion packs, could be announced by the end of the week by EA and Maxis Games.

The possibility of console releases and their timing remain unanswered. However, given the potential for capitalizing on players' nostalgic fondness for these classics, EA is unlikely to miss this lucrative opportunity.
