People Can Fly, the studio behind Bulletstorm and co-developer of Gears of War: E-Day, has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment on a new game, codenamed Project Delta. The agreement, detailed in a report from People Can Fly, designates Project Delta as a work-for-hire title, but specifics about the project remain undisclosed.

This latest collaboration adds to People Can Fly's already extensive portfolio. The studio is currently juggling several projects with similar codenames, including Project Gemini (a partnership with Square Enix, which experienced layoffs last year), Project Echo (with Krafton), Project Red (potentially also with Sony), and the recently announced VR Project Bison—their final VR endeavor.

In recent months, the studio has made some strategic adjustments. Last December, work on Project Victoria was suspended, and development on Project Bifrost was scaled back. Earlier, in April, Project Dagger, an action-adventure title planned in collaboration with Take-Two Interactive, was cancelled.

Despite these changes, People Can Fly still has eight known projects underway, including the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day developed in partnership with The Coalition. While a release date for Gears of War: E-Day is yet to be announced, Project Gemini, the Square Enix collaboration, is currently slated for a 2026 release.
