Schedule I became the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, surpassing popular titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after gaining widespread attention on social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time drug dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point and work their way up to becoming a kingpin, managing the manufacture and distribution of various drugs. Players can expand their empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

The game is developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, who described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler expressed his surprise at the response and his focus on releasing patches quickly and planning future content updates once major bugs are resolved.
