Shogi Live Subscription 2014

The Japan Shogi Association's official app offers live streaming of professional shogi matches (subscription required). This subscription-based app provides access to live games, but requires an internet connection.

Note: Player profiles, tournament information, game commentary, blogs, columns, tsumeshogi puzzles, and news are all in Japanese.

System Requirements:

• OS: Android 4.1 or higher
• Screen Resolutions: 480x800, 480x854, 540x960, 640x960 (Sharp IS03), 720x1280, 1200x1920, compatible with Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) and Galaxy Note devices.

App Features:

• Live streaming of professional shogi games (typically 1-several games daily, most weekdays).
• On-demand replays of games from the past six months.
• Game search functionality by tournament, players, and date.
• Free access to the first 30 moves of today's games.
• Live blog (Japanese).
• Columns (Japanese).
• Daily tsumeshogi puzzles (free).
• Shogi news (Japanese, free).
