One of the standout features is our advanced modding system, which now supports a wide range of animations for buttons, rain, wipers, windows, and more. The community has been incredibly active, creating hundreds of bus mods, with many more on the way. We're excited to announce that new bus mods are in development and will be released soon. To keep the game manageable and enjoyable, we've decided to include only the most popular buses in the base game, while older, non-animated buses will be reintroduced as mods over the coming months.

In 2020, we introduced a groundbreaking map modding system, a feature rarely seen in mobile games. While map creation requires a computer, the maps can be enjoyed on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM. Although the original routes are still available, our focus is shifting towards custom map creation, making these older routes a thing of the past.

Proton Bus Urbano is free to play, with additional features available for paid users. We believe in providing a quality experience without forcing players to spend money. If you truly enjoy the project and appreciate the development process, consider upgrading to a paid version. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and exclusive features such as virtual mirrors, cruise control, and 360-degree screenshot capturing. Almost all other features and buses remain free for everyone.

This simulator prioritizes realism over gamification. There are no points or checkpoints—just pick your favorite bus and drive. Given its complexity, there are numerous controls and settings to master. We recommend watching online tutorials or videos before diving in to avoid common issues. For instance, remember to press 'N' before selecting a gear and release the parking brake. Be sure to read setting descriptions carefully, as some options may not work well on all devices.

Proton Bus Urbano is available on both PC and Android. PCs offer superior graphics due to their powerful hardware. For optimal performance, a modern mid to high-end device with at least 4 GB of RAM is recommended. If you encounter performance issues, try older versions or adjust the settings. There's a known issue with 64-bit Unity applications on Android; if you experience low frame rates, consider downloading the 32-bit APK from our website.

Our focus moving forward is on core updates, particularly enhancing modding support. The simulator truly shines with mods, and we're committed to making them an integral part of the experience. Our advanced features have been tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, while basic features work well on a J7 Prime. The game is not suitable for older phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, but you can try installing it manually via APK/OBB, though we can't guarantee performance. • New mod installer! Installing mods is now much easier: simply share or open the mod file with the game. This works for most buses and maps (up to phase 3 maps only for this version).
• Improvements to shadow rendering (though not perfect, it should be slightly better).
• A new button to disconnect and delete the premium account, as required by the platform.
