Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced on Focus's official website on March 13, 2025, that development for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has begun. Deputy CEO of Focus Entertainment Publishing John Bert and Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch shared their insights on the franchise's current status and future prospects following their announcement.

Bert expressed excitement, stating, "Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3. Players can anticipate an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and innovations that will set new benchmarks in third-person action games." He further added, "Developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 aims to elevate the genre by introducing even more spectacular large-scale battles."

Karch elaborated, "We are now embarking on the development of Space Marine 3, a game that comes with high expectations from our growing fanbase." He continued, "While we will continue to support and expand the Space Marine 2 universe in the coming years, we will leverage all our learnings to create an even bigger and more spectacular game for the third installment. We see this as an opportunity to craft a true homage to the Warhammer 40,000 universe."
