The card's background showcases a scene that includes grass, a fence, trees, and two buildings. Astute fans quickly recognized the purple and yellow building as the Celadon City Department Store from these classic games. Positioned just to the left of Celadon City, Route 16 in the Kanto region features a fenced-in grassy area where players can encounter Spearow, perfectly aligning with the card's setting.
