NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, is a thrilling 4v1 survival horror game. Players choose to be either Killer or Survivor, engaging in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. Killers hunt Survivors, aiming for sacrifices to the Entity, while Survivors fight for survival.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The game's official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide information regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

For players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a "Welcome Package" for new players making the switch. Existing mobile players will receive loyalty rewards based on in-game spending and XP earned.

Grab Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th if you want to give it a try before the servers go offline. Also, be sure to check out our article on the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG, available on Android.
