Marvel's Moon Knight: Future Appearances Confirmed, Season 2 Unlikely
While a second season of Moon Knight on Disney+ is off the table, Marvel has confirmed Oscar Isaac's character will reappear in the MCU. Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, clarified this in a recent interview with ComicBook.
The shift away from a Season 2 stems from a change in Marvel Television's strategy. Previously, the focus was on establishing characters through individual shows before integrating them into larger MCU projects (similar to Ms. Marvel's introduction). Now, the approach leans towards more traditional annual TV series releases.
Winderbaum explained the change in strategy, stating that Moon Knight was part of an earlier wave of shows designed to introduce characters for future projects. The current priority is creating self-contained series with yearly release schedules. While a Season 2 isn't happening, he expressed interest in future Moon Knight appearances. Isaac's voice work as Moon Knight in Marvel's What If…? is a precedent for this.

The MCU's upcoming TV show lineup includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December).
Recently, Marvel paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc., but Winderbaum hinted at exploring a potential reunion of the Defenders (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist). For now, however, a live-action return for Isaac's Moon Knight remains unannounced.
