After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming closure of Alchemy Stars' online services. Launched in June 2021, this popular mobile game will transition to an offline-only format. This means you'll still be able to enjoy the story and your progress, but online features will cease.

Alchemy Stars Service End Date

The game's live service will officially end on January 24th, 2025. Before this date, a crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be implemented on January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT. This update introduces a local data save feature, allowing you to preserve your game progress.

After the update, locate the data save button on the main page. This will let you save your user data. You can save multiple times, but remember, the deadline for saving is January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Any unsaved data will be lost permanently after this time.

The offline version will be a static experience; no further updates will be released. Deleting the app will make it irretrievable, even via reinstallation. However, the offline version will allow you to replay the story, upgrade units, and explore your saved progress.

While the transition to an offline version is certainly preferable to a complete shutdown, it's important to act before the deadline. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store and save your game data before January 24th, 4:00 GMT.
