Pokémon GO announced the arrival of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1st. Last year's highly anticipated update introduced Dynamax and Gigantamax forms to Pokémon GO, a feature gradually expanding since then. Gigantamax, a powerful Dynamax variant, not only increases a Pokémon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and grants unique G-Max Moves. While the main series games feature 32 Gigantamax-capable Pokémon, Pokémon GO currently boasts only six, with Gigantamax Lapras being the most recent addition. This number is set to increase with the upcoming event.
Gigantamax Kingler will debut in Pokémon GO's Max Battle Day on February 1st. This event, running from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, introduces the Water-type Pokémon to six-star Max Battles, offering players a chance to encounter a Shiny Gigantamax Kingler. To enhance their battle performance, players can utilize Max Mushrooms, items that temporarily increase damage dealt by Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon in Max Battles.
