Freedom Wars Remastered features eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you can't revert to a lower level. Each CODE level unlocks new Entitlements and operations, enhancing your capabilities.

How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered

To check CODE upgrade requirements, speak with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions." Typically, you'll need to reach specific sentence year milestones and unlock certain Entitlements. This menu is always accessible, so check before spending Entitlement Points to avoid needing to donate resources later. Donating high-end resources and weapons often provides enough points for numerous Entitlements.

While fulfilling all listed conditions is necessary for CODE rank-ups, your current CODE level is intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside these conditions, is required to pass the CODE exam (which is also a story element). Sometimes, main story missions replace the CODE exam for the next level.
