Fantastic Four Trailer: MCU Debut & Galactus Tease

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, offering a thrilling glimpse into what promises to be a monumental superhero film in 2025. The trailer introduces Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing, alongside the formidable supervillain, Galactus. Opening with a dinner scene at the Baxter Building, the trailer showcases the film's stylish 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic and hints at an epic battle unfolding in New York City.

We see Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, alongside H.E.R.B.I.E., the Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics, both seemingly engrossed in culinary pursuits. Elsewhere, Sue Storm briefly demonstrates her powers as the Invisible Woman, and Johnny Storm takes flight as the Human Torch. While Reed Richards' stretchy Mr. Fantastic abilities are yet to be fully showcased, the trailer offers a tantalizing preview. A notable appearance is also made by John Malkovich, rumored to be portraying Ivan Kragoff, aka the Red Ghost.

The trailer's launch event took place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach interacted with enthusiastic fans.

Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, this highly anticipated MCU film also stars Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles round out the impressive cast, with Matt Shakman directing and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige producing.

Speculation is rife among fans regarding a potential appearance by Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, either within The Fantastic Four: First Steps or through a teasing cameo. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's presence in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
