EcoDash: Save Animals, Fight Air Pollution

Mother Nature: EcoDash is a new endless runner for Android with a powerful message. This game, developed by the UK-based immersive arts organization BOM (Birmingham Open Media), tackles pollution head-on. Uniquely, it's a collaboration between BOM and a group of girls aged 11-18 from Powered by CAN, a youth project, whose input shaped the game's art style and mechanics.

What Makes Mother Nature: EcoDash Special?

You play as Mother Nature, a Black female scientist, racing to clean up a polluted city and rescue endangered animals from the clutches of Smog, a villain determined to worsen the environmental crisis. You'll dodge pollution, collect air purifiers to keep the smog meter down, and avoid being engulfed by toxic clouds. Beyond the core running and jumping gameplay, rescue missions add another layer of challenge. Throughout the city, you'll find animals in need, ultimately releasing them back into their natural habitat in the rainforest.

BOM's goal was to create a fun and engaging way to educate players about climate change and air pollution. The game is packed with power-ups, shields, and bonus items to aid you on your mission.
