How To Become & Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6

Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to control the iconic kaiju. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him.

Becoming Godzilla:

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map in each game. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!

As Godzilla, unleash devastating attacks: the Roar to pinpoint nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and the powerful Heat Ray to inflict heavy damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!

Defeating Godzilla:

For the other 99 players, the challenge is on! Epic Games has strategically placed Godzilla's weak points. Focus your fire on these vulnerable areas to trigger the drop of Godzilla Fragments, granting 40 health and three dash charges per fragment – crucial for mobility in this intense battle.

The Rail Gun makes a return for this event, offering high damage output. High-rarity weapons are also effective. Remember, the player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla wins the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher as rewards. Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him is a significant achievement!
