Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's works and the iconic 1997 title, Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of classic dungeon-building and Lovecraftian horror.
Players will cultivate their own sinister cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a sprawling lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key elements of gameplay. Expanding influence involves recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level recruitment, and completing various objectives. However, rival cults and the authorities pose a constant threat, necessitating the strategic use of traps and spells to safeguard the lair.
