Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 2 update introduces a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This tool significantly simplifies the often-grueling process of unlocking camos and calling cards. Let's explore how this helpful addition works.

The Camo Challenge Tracker allows players to manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges to actively monitor. This eliminates the need to constantly check progress in the main menu. The system also proactively notifies players of near-completion for any challenge, even those not actively tracked.

Tracking Challenges:

To track a challenge, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge. Press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. Progress updates are then viewable during gameplay.

The game intelligently auto-populates the tracker with challenges nearing completion, even if not manually selected. This ensures players always have a clear picture of their progress. Additionally, near-complete challenges are also listed in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.

Simplified Camo Unlocking:

Season 2 also simplifies the camo unlocking process itself. Previously, unlocking special camos required completing nine preceding military camos. This requirement is now reduced to five, making the journey to mastery camos less arduous. However, two special camos are still needed to unlock the coveted mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness improves the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
