AFK Journey Chains of Eternity Season Release Date

The Chains of Eternity season launches globally on January 17th for the global version of AFK Journey. However, if you're playing on a different server, the release depends on your server's age and your progress. Specifically, your server needs to be at least 35 days old, and you must:

• Reach Resonance level 240.
• Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these requirements ensures you'll unlock the new season on January 17th alongside global players.

What's New in Chains of Eternity?

Chains of Eternity isn't just about a new map and story; it introduces a thrilling lineup of heroes and formidable bosses:

• Lorsan (Wilder)

• Illucia (Dream Realm boss)

Beyond the new characters, this season also brings significant gameplay adjustments. Daily AFK progress will have a cap, and Paragon levels and Exclusive Equipment will see adjustments. Paragon levels will become significantly more impactful, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 will provide a substantial boost. This means investing in your existing Supreme+ units will yield greater returns, though it will also be more expensive to upgrade beyond +15.
