The Iași BILET app simplifies using Iași's public transportation system. This travel portal, developed by the Iași Public Transport Company, offers a range of features to make commuting easier.

Key features include purchasing tickets via bank card, route planning, and real-time tracking of buses and trams on an interactive map.

Users can create accounts, link transport cards, and directly top up their cards with travel vouchers using online banking. Account balances and active tickets are readily accessible. Multiple cards can be managed from a single account, allowing for easy top-ups, subscription purchases, and renewals. A detailed transaction history is also available.

Subsidized fares are supported. Eligible users can apply for subsidized profiles within the app, submitting necessary documentation. Once approved (either through the app or in person), discounted or free tickets can be purchased.

Businesses partnered with the transport directorate can manage their card portfolios through the app or web portal.

Users can opt for notifications (on their device or via email) regarding ticket purchases, expiration dates, and other card-related actions.

The app's route planner utilizes real-time vehicle locations to determine the best route from point A to point B. Users can input starting points (current location or a custom location), destinations (addresses, points of interest, stations, or map pins), or choose from saved favorites. The app provides estimated travel times and walking distances to nearby stations.

Frequently used locations can be saved for quicker access. The app displays real-time vehicle locations, alerts users to necessary line changes, and allows for saving favorite lines. Users receive notifications about service disruptions affecting their saved lines.

The app also allows users to view complete or partial line routes on the map, search for lines and view their real-time vehicle locations, view all lines serving a selected station, and view the next three arrival times for each line at that station. Finally, the map displays the locations and operating hours of ticket sales points.

The app is available in Romanian and English, adapting to the device's language settings.
