Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th

After a brief delay, the acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been polished and are now set to launch on January 28th.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game's relaxing gameplay, focusing on cultivating magical plants in the English countryside, earned widespread praise, solidifying its place as a top puzzler of 2024. While a PlayStation release was initially planned for December, a delay was announced to ensure the best possible player experience.

Whitethorn Games confirmed the new January 28th launch date on January 9th. Although the date is now set, a PS Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available.

The PlayStation version is expected to retail at $24.99, aligning with its pricing on other platforms. As a one-time purchase with no microtransactions, it will likely mirror the other versions, excluding any separate digital soundtrack offerings.

Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Genre

Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) highlights its charming atmosphere, clever puzzles, and engaging exploration. Its arrival on PlayStation will significantly enrich the console's already impressive puzzle game library.

With the PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available across all its initially announced platforms. While Balloon Studios hasn't revealed their next project, January 28th promises a diverse range of PlayStation releases, including Botany Manor, alongside Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
