These picture logic puzzles, also known as Hanjie, Griddlers, Picross, or Japanese Crosswords, require players to fill in grid cells based on numerical clues to reveal a hidden image. The numbers represent the lengths of consecutive filled-in squares in each row and column, with at least one blank square between groups. Strategic deduction, not guesswork, is key to success. Leaving empty cells (spaces) unmarked is as crucial as filling in the correct boxes.
