Ultra Beasts Return to Pokémon GO in July

Pokémon GO's "Inbound from Ultra Space" event brings back Ultra Beasts! This five-day extravaganza, running July 8-13, 2024, features the return of nine Ultra Beasts in five-star raids. However, geographic limitations apply—many Ultra Beasts are regional exclusives.

Asia-Pacific players encounter Xurkitree, EMEA and India face Pheromosa, while Buzzwole appears in the Americas and Greenland. Stakataka is exclusive to the Eastern Hemisphere, and Blacephalon to the West. Celesteela graces the Southern Hemisphere, leaving Kartana for the Northern Hemisphere.

Timed Research quests offer encounters with all featured Ultra Beasts, but only Stakataka and Blacephalon boast special Pokédex backgrounds. New event-themed backgrounds are also available from raids and wild catches.

Event Details:

• Dates: July 8, 10:00 a.m. to July 13, 10:00 a.m. local time.
• Raids: Five-star raids daily (6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Raid Hour). Specific Ultra Beasts vary by region and day. Shiny encounters are possible.
• Timed Research: Rewards include encounters with all event Ultra Beasts (Stakataka and Blacephalon have special backgrounds).
• Bonuses: Increased daily Remote Raid Pass limit (20, July 8-11; unlimited July 12-14), guaranteed Candy XL for trading (level 31+).

Inbound from Ultra Space Ticket:

A paid Timed Research ticket ($5 or equivalent) offers extra bonuses: 5,000 XP from completed raids, 2x Stardust from winning Ultra Beast raids, extra Candy and Candy XL from five-star raid catches, and up to 2 free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs (up to 10 daily with the Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global ticket). It also includes substantial Candy XL for various Ultra Beasts and other rewards. The ticket is available July 8-14 in-game, and on the Pokémon GO Web Store (with a bonus Premium Battle Pass) July 7-14 PDT.

New Backgrounds: Special backgrounds can be obtained from catching certain Pokémon in Raids.

Global Challenge: A global challenge unlocks Beast Balls for Ultra Beast encounters during Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global and temporarily boosts Party Power in Party Play.
