S-Tier

It's no surprise that S-tier characters like Beryl, Gloria, Inanna, and Col are prime targets for rerolling. Beryl and Col stand out as the most potent DPS units currently, with Beryl's Destroyer-type giving her a slight edge against most enemy types, except Watchers. Col, a formidable rogue, excels at eliminating enemies from the sides or rear, making attack and crit rate boosts essential for her.

Gloria and Inanna, meanwhile, are top-tier support units. Gloria's versatility allows her to serve as a primary DPS character with her powerful Flag buffs, knockback capabilities, and high damage output. Inanna, on the other hand, is the ideal dedicated healer, summoning the Guard of the Princess to tank hits and assist in battle objectives.

Edda, a recent addition to the global version, excels as a support character, enhancing magical team potential with her debuffing abilities, particularly useful in Weaponry Trial I for farming Legendary weapons. Cocoa, introduced in September 2024, is a strong tank with additional utility through heals, buffs, and debuffs, reaching full potential at five stars.

Saffiyah and Auguste, known for their dominance in the CN and TW versions, are highly sought-after. Saffiyah, a versatile Seeker, can summon minions, heal, and deal damage while dodging hits. Auguste, the best auto-play character, is also the strongest Breaker DPS, making both essential for any team composition.

A-Tier

Dantalion and Magnus form a powerful duo when paired, offering significant attack buffs to breeze through PvE stages. Magnus is a reliable tank, particularly if you haven't yet acquired Cocoa. Dantalion's kit focuses on self-buffing, ensuring he remains effective even when the rest of the team falls.

Nonowill provides valuable support through buffs and debuffs, complemented by her mobility. Simona, added in late August 2024, is a battlemage who can freeze and slow enemies while dealing substantial damage, ideal for magic-based teams alongside Edda.

Rawiyah (Alt) and Saffiyah (Alt) bring enhanced utility and high damage output, making them strong additions to any team. Rawiyah (Alt) excels in AoE damage and self-healing, while Saffiyah (Alt) is a potent debuffer, reducing enemy attack and boosting allies.

B-Tier

Maitha offers versatility as a tank with decent damage and healing capabilities, serving well as an early game tank before being replaced by stronger options like Magnus or Cocoa. Rawiyah is another solid early game unit, focusing on DPS with AoE capabilities and self-healing.

C-Tier

While C-tier characters may be less efficient, they can still be valuable early on. Teadon, for example, is a decent tank with high defense and frontline capabilities. These characters can help you progress until you pull higher-tier units.

Best Epic Characters to Invest In

Sword of Convallaria tier list for epic characters

Not everyone will have the luck or patience to reroll for S-tier characters, but *Sword of Convallaria* offers powerful Epic units to fill your team temporarily or even carry you through the game:

RoleCharacter
RogueCrimson Falcon
DPSTempest, Stormbreaker
MageDarklight Ice Priest, Abyss, Butterfly
TankSuppression
HealerAngel

Crimson Falcon has been a standout rogue, offering high damage and mobility, often being the first character you max out due to abundant Memory Shards. Tempest and Stormbreaker are reliable DPS options for the frontlines, especially without Gloria. For mage roles, consider Darklight Ice Priest for ranged ice damage and slowing enemies, and Abyss for additional magical support. Butterfly, while not a traditional mage, provides utility similar to a Dancer in *Fire Emblem*, offering small heals and position swaps.

For tanks and healers, Suppression and Angel are top choices. If you're committed to Maitha, you might bypass Suppression, but Angel's strong healing makes her a must-have if you're missing Inanna, keeping your team alive as you save for more pulls.
