Nightdive Studios has officially rebranded the game as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, bringing a fresh perspective to a beloved cult classic. This revitalized edition is set to launch on PC (available on Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, as well as Nintendo Switch, ensuring that fans across multiple platforms can enjoy the experience.

The eagerly awaited release date will be revealed on March 20, 2025, during the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase, marking a significant moment for a new generation of players to delve into this legendary sci-fi RPG.

Originally debuting in 1999, System Shock 2 was a groundbreaking title that fused survival horror with intricate RPG mechanics. The remastered version aims to maintain the game's chilling atmosphere while enhancing it with contemporary visuals and technical upgrades.

Nightdive Studios, renowned for their work in reviving the System Shock series, including the 2013 remaster of System Shock 2 and the remake of the original game, had initially planned to release this project in tandem with the System Shock remake.
