Subtitles are a fantastic accessibility feature, but not everyone's cup of tea. Need to tweak your subtitle settings in *Avowed*? Here's how to do it.
How to Turn Subtitles On & Off in Avowed

Avowed initially presents subtitle options, but you can easily change them later. There are actually two places to adjust subtitle settings:
Navigate to the "Settings" menu, then find either the "UI" or "Accessibility" tabs. Look for "Conversation Subtitles" and "Chatter Subtitles" and set them to your preference. The "Accessibility" tab offers the most straightforward access.
Why Some People Don't Like Subtitles
While I appreciate subtitles (they're essential for me!), many find them distracting. Ultimately, it's a matter of personal preference. Use them if you need or prefer them; otherwise, switch them off.
Avowed's Accessibility Options
While not the most extensive I've seen, Avowed offers standard accessibility features. You can customize subtitle appearance: adjust size, background opacity, and display duration.
Beyond subtitles, Avowed includes options to mitigate motion sickness by reducing camera shake and head bobbing. Other accessibility settings allow for aim assist adjustments, toggling crouch/sprint, and more, enhancing playability for a wider audience.
That's how to manage subtitles in Avowed. Enjoy!
