Star Rail V2.6 Celebrates Paperfold Anniversary

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd!

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming version 2.6 update, "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, bustling with the energy of a new semester and its anniversary celebrations.

New Character and Gameplay

The spotlight shines on Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap! Rappa's quest to hunt down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru will take center stage. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, offers a unique first-person perspective, allowing players to slice through enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

The "Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription" event challenges players to manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, teaming up with Rappa for an unforgettable performance.

Returning 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will be available in the warp event during both halves of the update.

Simulated Universe Expansion

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 also brings a substantial update to the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, the third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts. Players will collect and upgrade powerful Scepters—external thinking units made of inorganic bionic neurons—to create synergistic strategies and defeat a challenging final boss.
