Master the Master Strike in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for Brutal Efficiency
Early melee combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be challenging. However, mastering the Master Strike significantly simplifies encounters. This guide details how to learn and utilize this powerful technique.
Learning the Master Strike
The Master Strike isn't immediately available. After completing the tutorial, locate Bara the beggar in Troskowitz. She'll direct you to Tomcat, initiating the "Combat Training" side quest.
Tomcat resides in the Nomads' Camp, near the Cumans' Camp and Bozhena's Hut. Complete "Combat Training I," then save your game before engaging in "Combat Training II," a considerably harder challenge. Victory over Tomcat in "Combat Training II" unlocks the Master Strike. Consider improving your Strength stat before attempting this quest to increase your chances of success. Saving before each attempt is strongly recommended.
Utilizing the Master Strike
The Master Strike is exclusive to sword combat. During a fight, observe your opponent's weapon stance. Position your sword in the opposite direction; if they attack from the left, hold your sword to the right.
As your opponent strikes, a green shield icon will appear centrally on the screen. Immediately press your attack button to execute the Master Strike, parrying the incoming attack and countering with an unblockable blow. Timing is crucial – ensure your sword is correctly positioned before initiating the attack.
Strategic Advantage
The Master Strike is a game-changer in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, significantly reducing the difficulty of most combat encounters. Master this technique to enhance your combat prowess.
