Reverse: 1999's Version 1.8 update, "Farewell, Rayashiki," arrives August 15th, 2024, introducing new characters and compelling storylines. This comprehensive guide details everything you need to know.

Bidding Adieu to Rayashiki

The "Farewell, Rayashiki" main event unfolds from August 15th to September 16th, with Hard Mode unlocking on August 22nd, yielding rewards such as Clear Drops and Cornerstones. Completing the first chapter by August 15th grants the Gift of the Stars (600 Clear Drops and 5 Picrasma Candy).

Beyond the main event, Version 1.8 boasts additional content. "Journey to North," a two-part event offering seven free Unilogs, runs from August 15th to August 29th (Part 1) and August 29th to September 19th (Part 2).

New Characters and Banner Events in Reverse: 1999 Version 1.8

Two new Arcanists join the fray: Vila (6-star Plant Afflatus) and Windsong (6-star Star Afflatus). Vila, a powerful support character, heals, purifies negative statuses, and boosts damage.

The Vila Banner, "Ode to the Utopia," runs from August 15th to August 29th, featuring increased drop rates for 6-star Vila and 5-star Avgust. The Windsong Banner, "The Intersecting Lines," follows from August 29th to September 19th, highlighting 6-star Windsong, alongside boosted rates for 5-star Sweetheart and 5-star Blonney.

Finally, a rerun banner for Spathodea and Shamane, "Yearning of the Water," is available from September 1st to September 14th.
