Rollic's Power Slap: WWE Superstars Join the Mobile Slapping Frenzy!
Rollic's mobile game, Power Slap, a unique take on the controversial "sport" of competitive slapping, is now available on iOS and Android. The game features a roster of WWE superstars, adding a familiar face to the high-impact action.
For the uninitiated, Power Slap involves contestants delivering powerful slaps to each other's faces until one is incapacitated. While the real-life version is undeniably brutal, the game offers a less physically demanding (and potentially less injury-prone) way to experience the phenomenon.
The inclusion of WWE superstars like Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman, Omos, and Seth "Freaking" Rollins is no coincidence. Given the recent merger of WWE and UFC under TKO Holdings, and UFC president Dana White's ownership of Power Slap, this crossover makes perfect sense.
More Than Just Slaps:
The full release of Power Slap boasts additional content beyond the core slapping mechanic. Players can expect to engage in side-quests like PlinK.O and Slap’n Roll, as well as participate in Daily Tournaments.
While the real-world Power Slap raises eyebrows, Rollic aims to make its mobile adaptation a successful and entertaining experience. The addition of popular WWE wrestlers certainly adds a significant draw, but whether that's enough to propel the game to widespread success remains to be seen.
