The Pokémon Company has announced a celebratory range of merchandise commemorating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Silver. This exciting collection features items for every fan, from stylish apparel to practical home goods. The launch date is set for November 23rd, 2024, at Pokémon Centers in Japan. International availability is yet to be confirmed.

Pre-orders begin November 21st, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan.

Prices range from ¥495 (approximately $4 USD) to ¥22,000 (approximately $143 USD). Highlights include striking Sukajan jackets (¥22,000) featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia designs, stylish Day Bags (¥12,100), charming 2-Piece Set Plates (¥1,650), and a variety of stationery and hand towels.

Pokémon Gold and Silver, originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, revolutionized the Pokémon world with innovative features. These critically acclaimed games introduced the groundbreaking in-game clock, impacting Pokémon appearances and events. The introduction of 100 new Pokémon (Gen 2), including fan favorites like Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia, expanded the Pokémon universe significantly. The games were later remade for the Nintendo DS in 2009 as Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
