New Operator Rauora Joins Rainbow Six Siege

The final day of the Six Invitational is always a thrilling moment for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft unveils exciting new content. This year, the spotlight was on Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand, who promises to shake up the game's dynamics.

Rauora's standout feature is the DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield that can only be deployed in doorways, although it's susceptible to destruction by explosives. The shield includes a trigger mechanism that can be activated by any player. The time it takes to open varies significantly: attackers can trigger it to open in just one second, whereas defenders face a delay of three seconds. This difference can be game-changing, especially during tense moments when the defuser has been planted.

Additionally, Rauora brings a new weapon to the Siege arsenal: the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine. For her primary weapons, players can choose between the powerful M249 LMG or the precise 417 marksman rifle.

Fans eager to try out Rauora can do so on the test servers starting next week. However, it will take a bit longer for her to make her debut on the live version of the game.
