Japan Launch Postponed: Inventory Shortages

Nintendo Japan has announced a postponement of the general sale of the Alarmo, initially scheduled for February 2025. This delay is attributed to current production and inventory limitations. The impact on international stock levels remains unclear, with a global general release still planned for March 2025.

In response, Nintendo is implementing a pre-order system exclusively for Japanese Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. This pre-order window is set to open in mid-December, with shipments beginning in early February 2025. Precise pre-order commencement dates will be announced separately.

Launched globally in October, the Alarmo—an interactive alarm clock featuring iconic Nintendo soundtracks from franchises like Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and Ring Fit Adventure—quickly gained immense popularity.
