A New Hub For Hunters
The showcase kicked off with a glimpse into the new endgame hub for hunting parties, named the Grand Hub. This area offers numerous activities such as feasting, arm wrestling, and enjoying the Diva's nighttime performances. Additionally, there's a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game where players can earn vouchers and other rewards. The Grand Hub becomes accessible once you reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.
Mizutsune Arrives
One of the headline additions of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the elegant yet dangerous monster, Mizutsune. Known for its swift tail strikes and powerful water jets, Mizutsune will challenge hunters in the Scarlet Forest once they reach Hunter Rank 21 or above. Speak to Kanya to start the quest and prepare to craft new gear from your successful hunts.
Additional Hunts on the Way
An exciting new Event Quest will feature Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a monster that promises a formidable challenge, requiring a Hunter Rank of 50 or higher to engage. Completing this quest rewards players with new armor. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to re-fight Zoh Shia through new quests, also accessible at Hunter Rank 50, with the chance to craft unique armor sets.
Arena Quests
Speedrun enthusiasts will enjoy the new Arena Quests, designed to test their skills in competitive time trials. Both Challenge and Free Challenge Quests will be available, offering pendants as rewards for participation and achievement. These can be accessed via the counter in the Grand Hub.
Change Alma's Outfit
Your dedicated handler, Alma, is getting a fashion update. Players can now customize Alma's appearance through an in-camp menu, with one outfit available for free. Completing a specific side mission will also allow you to change Alma's glasses, adding a personal touch to your gaming experience.
More DLC is on the Way
Alongside Title Update 1, Capcom is releasing a mix of free and paid DLC. Free items include classic Monster Hunter gestures, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 offers additional cosmetic options, available to those with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. New stickers and looks for Alma are also part of the upcoming content.
More Event Quests and Seasonal Events
The game will see the addition of more Event Quests and Seasonal Events, with the Grand Hub transforming during these special times. The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, starting April 23, will bring cherry blossoms and new decorations to the game. Capcom has confirmed that most past events and quests will return in the future.
The Roadmap Ahead
The rollout of Title Update 1 and its related content is scheduled as follows: Title Update 1 on April 3 for U.S. players, the Blossomdance event on April 22, Arch-tempered Rey Dau on April 29, and additional features and a Capcom collaboration by the end of May.

The showcase concluded with a teaser for Title Update 2, set for this summer, hinting at the return of the iconic Lagiacrus, the underwater leviathan, now causing havoc on the surface. While no specific date has been set, the anticipation is building for what's next in Monster Hunter Wilds.
