Dredge's Mobile Port Delayed Until February 2025, But a New Closed Beta is Open!
Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a bit longer for the mobile version. The highly anticipated port has been pushed back to February 2025. However, the delay comes with good news: Black Salt has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.
In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly descends into a terrifying journey filled with strange sea creatures, mysterious beings, and the ever-present threat of madness. The isolated island adds another layer of mystery and dread to the experience.
A Worthy Wait?
The delay, while disappointing, is understandable. Porting a game of Dredge's scope to mobile is a complex undertaking. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing Black Salt to gather valuable player feedback before the official release. Considering Dredge's critical acclaim and numerous awards, the wait will likely be worth it for those who haven't already experienced the game on other platforms.
