Iron Doors

Crafting iron doors requires 6 iron ingots. Place them in the same 3x2 grid at a crafting table as with wooden doors.

Iron doors boast superior fire resistance and durability against all mobs, providing enhanced security.

Automatic Doors

Pressure plates automate door opening. Stepping on a pressure plate will open a nearby door. However, this affects both players and mobs, so caution is advised for outdoor placement.

Mechanical Automated Doors

Beyond crafting table doors, players can build custom mechanical doors. This requires significant resources: 4 sticky pistons, 2 solid blocks (any material), 4 solid blocks for the door itself, redstone dust, torches, and 2 pressure plates.
