Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2: A Fresh Batch of Titles

Get ready for a thrilling lineup of games joining the Xbox Game Pass in January 2025's second wave! Microsoft's Xbox Wire announcement precedes the January 23rd Xbox Developer Direct, where we'll see several day-one Game Pass releases, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed title.

The wave begins January 21st with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), a day-one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Master the slopes solo or compete with up to eight players in cross-platform multiplayer.

January 22nd brings a flurry of additions:

• Flock (Console) arrives on Game Pass Standard, offering a delightful multiplayer co-op experience focused on collecting adorable flying creatures.
• Gigantic: Rampage Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This definitive edition of the 5v5 MOBA hero shooter provides intense team-based action.
