Surfer Jay, a powerful recruit found in Honolulu, boasts superior stats compared to earlier crew members. However, his recruitment requires a bit more legwork than others. The key is obtaining Kraken-Chan, a specific blue plush.

The easiest approach is to first sail to Madlantis. There, locate the UFO Catcher game in the tent across from the Madlantis Golf Range. Kraken-Chan might be a prize, but if not, speak to the attendant to change the prizes.
