Karrablast and Shelmet are set to shine in the upcoming Pokémon Go Community Day on Sunday, February 9th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During this event, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering players a golden opportunity to encounter their Shiny forms. Alongside the increased spawn rates, you can expect the usual Community Day bonuses and additional research tasks to enhance your gaming experience.

By catching enough Karrablast and Shelmet during the event, you'll have the chance to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively. These evolutions come with exclusive charged attacks: Escavalier will learn Razor Shell, boasting 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 in gyms and raids, while Accelgor will gain Energy Ball, with a consistent 90 power across all battle types.

For those looking to dive deeper into the event, a Community Day Special Research story is available for purchase at $2 or its local equivalent. This ticket not only offers encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet against a unique Dual Destiny-themed Special Background but also includes additional encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.
