Following the phenomenal success of 2023's "Oppenheimer," Nolan's latest project promises a visually stunning cinematic experience. Shot globally using cutting-edge IMAX film technology, "The Odyssey" marks the first time Homer's timeless tale will grace IMAX screens. The film's theatrical release is slated for July 17, 2026.

Early reports indicated Matt Damon as a frontrunner for the lead role, marking his reunion with Universal following the seven-Academy-Award-winning "Oppenheimer" (including Best Picture and Best Director).
