Beloved voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his work in numerous Bethesda titles including Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Starfield, is critically ill. His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his extensive medical bills and living expenses while he's unable to work.
According to a PC Gamer report, Johnson's wife, Kim, discovered him unconscious and barely alive in his hotel room after he failed to appear at a charity event he was scheduled to host for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta. Emergency responders had difficulty finding a pulse.
Beyond his extensive video game career, Johnson is also a long-time public address announcer for the Washington Capitals and has appeared in various film and television projects. His impressive Bethesda repertoire includes roles such as Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, multiple Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4. The gaming community and beyond are rallying around Johnson and his family during this difficult time.
