Hearthstone offers a continuous stream of new content through regular updates and expansions. These typically include three major expansions per year, each introducing fresh card sets, exciting new game mechanics, and engaging battle passes as part of seasonal cycles.

All players can enjoy the core gameplay enhancements and new cards introduced with each expansion completely free of charge. However, Hearthstone also provides optional add-ons for players who want to enhance their experience. These might include cosmetic items, such as alternate card backs or hero skins, and other in-game purchases.
