Hades 2's First Major Update: Ascending to Olympus

Melinoe and Enemies Enhanced

Supergiant Games has unleashed the highly anticipated Olympic Update, their first major content drop for Hades 2. The developers are actively monitoring player feedback to refine the update's impact. This substantial update introduces a wealth of new content, including a vast new region, a powerful new weapon, additional allies, fresh animal companions, and much more.

Key additions in this expansive update include:

Hades 2, the eagerly awaited sequel to Supergiant Games' critically acclaimed 2020 title, is currently in early access on PC. The full release, including console ports, is anticipated for next year. Since its May release, Hades 2 has garnered praise for its compelling replayability and substantial content, even in its early access phase. This major update significantly expands upon this foundation, adding hours of gameplay, new dialogue, and voice lines, culminating in the dramatic introduction of Olympus and the throne of Zeus.

The update also refines existing elements. Several Nocturnal Arms and Abilities have been overhauled, including Witch's Staff, Sister Blades, Umbral Flames, and Moonstone Axe Specials, enhancing Melinoe's adaptability. Melinoe's Dash has been improved for speed and responsiveness, allowing for quicker escapes from attacks. However, these improvements are balanced by significant enemy enhancements.

The addition of Mount Olympus introduces a range of new enemies, including formidable Wardens and a new Guardian. Existing Surface enemies have also received adjustments:
