Reflecting on past releases, GTA 5 initially launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2014, and finally on PC in April 2015. Similarly, Red Dead Redemption 2 debuted on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018, with a PC release following in November 2019. Although no concrete confirmation has been given for GTA 6 on PC, Zelnick's comments imply a strong interest in eventually bringing the game to the platform. "We've had obviously a long-standing relationship with Nintendo, and we've supported the platform when it made sense for the individual release," Zelnick remarked.

He acknowledged the evolution of the Switch's audience, stating, "the Switch device can support any audience." With Civilization 7 already confirmed for the Switch, Zelnick hinted at further support for the platform, saying, "As you may have noted, Civilization 7 is now on Switch. So while we have nothing specific to report, we actually would fully expect to support Switch."
