Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox

Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, the creative force behind the popular Construction Simulator series, alongside publisher astragon, has unveiled Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, a groundbreaking simulation game set to redefine the firefighting genre. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, this immersive experience will transport players into the high-stakes world of firefighting. Set to launch in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, offering players a chance to step into the boots of a firefighter, tackling a variety of dangerous scenarios including rescuing trapped citizens, combating electrical blazes, managing flammable liquids, and handling complex fire dynamics like grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. What's more, players can join forces in a thrilling four-player co-op mode.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite promises to deliver unparalleled realism with its advanced fire, smoke, and heat physics. The game aims to enhance immersion further by incorporating officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from top industry brands such as HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL. Players will have access to an arsenal of essential firefighting tools, including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, along with authentic personal protective equipment.
