How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
E.R.P.O. continuously introduces new monsters, making it essential to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on each monster, along with general strategies to combat them:
Beat them in Melee: Purchase melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer from the in-game shop, costing between 10k to 20k cash. These weapons will appear in your next level; pick them up with M1 and swing at monsters to inflict damage. Exercise caution against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run approach is advisable to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, grenades and mines are powerful tools. To use a grenade, pick it up with M1, unscrew it with E, then throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines are placed and detonated when stepped on by a monster.
Monster Brawl: Strategically use one monster against another. For instance, lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by hiding behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers during their attack animation to cause them to damage each other or other nearby monsters.
Robe Guide (Ghost)
The Robe, a shadowy entity, is dangerous upon contact. Evade it by crouching and hiding or kiting it around. It can be defeated using 2 grenades or mines by luring it towards you. Melee combat is not recommended due to Robe's high damage output. Be aware that it teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide
The Reaper, a doll-like creature with spinning sword arms, can be kited or avoided. Unlike the Robe, it does not teleport, making it easier to engage with melee weapons as it deals less damage. A single grenade combined with a few hits can take it down, and grenades or mines will stun it momentarily.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)
The seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked by grabbing or damaging them. Once enraged, they'll fly and bite, causing minimal damage but relentlessly pursuing you. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons to eliminate them. Using grenades is overkill due to their low health.
Huntsman
The Huntsman, a blind marksman with a deadly gun, relies on sound to locate you. Avoid detection by crouching and hiding under tables. Melee attacks are risky due to its one-shot capability and auto-aim. Instead, place a mine in its path or throw a grenade while crouched to stun it for 6 seconds, then rush in with melee weapons.
