Nightreign Unveils 6th Class: Ironeye

A Lethal Ranged Sniper

Elden Ring: Nightreign has just unveiled a thrilling addition to its roster: the Ironeye class. Set to launch in May, this class revolutionizes ranged combat with an emphasis on agility and precision. The character's trailer showcases its prowess, armed with a formidable bow and arrow setup, and the ability to scale walls for strategic aerial assaults. The Ironeye's gameplay is enhanced by a new aiming system designed to facilitate headshots with ease. Remarkably, the class even executes a riposte maneuver, delivering a direct shot to an enemy's heart with a bow and arrow.

During the Nightreign closed network test in February, players had the chance to explore four of the eight available classes: the versatile Wylder, the sturdy Guardian, the agile Duchess, and the spell-casting Recluse. With the Ironeye marking the sixth class to be revealed, anticipation grows as FromSoftware may soon unveil the final two classes ahead of the game's release next month.

The introduction of quality-of-life enhancements, such as the new aiming system, has sparked hope among fans that these improvements might also be integrated into the original Elden Ring, potentially enhancing the appeal of using bows as a primary weapon.

On various social media platforms, including Reddit, bows have historically been less favored compared to melee weapons in the original game. However, with the Ironeye class demonstrating the potency of ranged combat, it could encourage more players to experiment with a bow-based build in Nightreign.

Elden Ring: Nightreign, a standalone adventure within the Elden Ring universe, is scheduled for release on May 30th, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $39.99. For more detailed insights into the game, check out Game8’s comprehensive article below!
