"Like A Dragon Launches 20th Anniversary Merch Voting Project"

Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is gearing up for a grand celebration of Like A Dragon's (LAD) 20th Anniversary in December 2025. As part of the festivities, RGG Studio has launched an exciting fan-voting project that allows fans to choose which in-game items they would like to see transformed into real-world merchandise. From an eclectic selection of 100 items, including lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, luxury lighters, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, and Kiryu's iconic dragon mask, fans have the chance to vote on their favorites.

The voting period for this unique project kicked off on February 8, 2025, and will run until March 21, 2025. Fans are encouraged to cast their vote daily, with the promise from RGG that the top-voted item will definitely be commercialized within the next two years. Following the voting period, RGG will launch a separate questionnaire to finalize the design of the winning merchandise.

In a Twitter (X) post on December 8, 2024, during the 19th Anniversary celebration, RGG Studio's Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama hinted at the studio's plans for the 20th Anniversary. Yokoyama expressed his gratitude to fans and teased a lineup of events and announcements leading up to the big milestone. The festivities began with the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025.

While no further announcements have been made since the video, the studio's 10th Anniversary serves as a precedent, which saw the announcement and subsequent release of remakes like Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. Fans are eagerly anticipating what RGG has in store for the 20th Anniversary, expecting something equally significant.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

RGG Studio unveiled the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on Twitter (X) on February 10, 2025. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or any equivalent or newer model, which should pose no problem for most gaming setups. The game is also set to release on previous-gen consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, indicating that PC specifications will be easily met by most players. Additionally, RGG confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified.

SEGA has also released a captivating story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's adventures on the High Seas, narrated by the Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced and portrayed by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe.
